PC for my father

Hello fellow internet users !

 

I am new to this forum and apologice in advance for an eventual repost (and the language, i am not a native english speaker) , but, my father needs a new pc.

He only needs it for browsing the web and accationaly sending some E-mails and his old laptop is a personal pain for me to watch him using, as his son.

His new mashine will be a tower and we want to build it from spare parts together.

I already tried PC Parts Finder but i am afraid i am not educated enough in specific computer components to get the best parts for the money for him.

All i know is that he doesnt need anything more than the following:

1TB SSD/HDD

8GB RAM

An Intel between i5 - i7 or similar AMD processor

Nothing more powerful and-or expansive than a GTX1660 or similar AMD graphics card

Our budget is tightly set to 300 EUR

 

Like i mentioned, he doesnt ever get a significant workload on his system, doesnt play games or stuff.

If you guys could help us out, i cant offer you much more than a honest thank you from the deepest of my heart and an eventual photo (or maybe video) of my father and me spending some much needed quality time together,

and making his internet experience enjoyable once again

Look for an old prebuilt on a used site. Try to get 8gb of ram, some kind of i5 or i7 around 2nd-4th gen.

I will go over the parts with my father and decide what to use, gonna make a new post once we start ordering some parts.
