USB or AUX?

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

No, unless the steelseries transmitter had a poor DAC.

This might be a stupid question. I bought a decent speaker that has USB and Aux option, Edifier G2000. My setup was that my old speaker was connected to my steelseries Actis 9 wireless transmitter so that when I turn on my headset, the sound would go straight  to my headset and when off, goes back to the speaker. I would like to keep this setup simply for laziness and ease of use. Basically the wireless transmitter is connected via usb to my pc and the speaker would be connect through aux to the wireless transmitter. So for those who had Edifier G2000 or better speakers, would I be missing anything by not directly connecting the speaker to my pc through USB? Thanks!
