Soo

Im stuck on a problem. I have been having fps drops in games like apex legends, rage 2, division 2 and even for some reason minecraft. All 4 games are running at low settings but im still getting frame drops.  Specs for my pc are:

case Titan 750

asrock h310cm-dvs

I5-9600k

nvidia gtx 1060 6gb

8gb 2666mhz xpg

1tb hdd segate

monitor is a viewsonic va1931 19" 1360x768p display with 5ms and 60hz

should i upgrade something from my specs or is it something else that i should do to get better frames?

What're you getting for framerates?  At 720, your system should be able to pump out the frames, unless you've got something set up poorly.

One thing I'd suggest:  Buy a 256 or 512GB SSD and install windows on it, your box will get soooo much faster.

Frames are around 40 to 70, but drops to 7 are constant. Ssd is in the shipping, soo in a week ir two ill know

Have you tried a benchmark like heaven or Furmark?  See how the GPU runs?

Is it dropping clocks, etc?  How are temperatures?

Speed is normal when ive done benchmarks soo 1550ish. Temp sits around 70 to 82 degrees celsius. And when not under load then 47°c
