how would the cooler master hyper 212 evo perform with the amd fx 4100 stock fan would there be clearance for corsair vengeance ram too

I have a hyper 212 evo and I have room for my high profile memory on my biostar 990 FXE. Now in saying that, I would think that most MoBos have the same clearance from the socket, but if you have a non ATX board it could be smaller. As far as performance, I can never hear my CPU fan running and my temps are super cool.

The Hyper 212 Evo will definitely cool better than your stock cooler. For the height clearance: The height of the heatpipes to the fan is 37mm so it would be best if your ram is under that... I am not sure of how tall your ram is so I can't really tell you if you would get clearance...

The cooler isn't much wider than the CPU socket, so I'd say your RAM should be fine. Don't quote me on that though.

If the cooler is positioned vertically you'll definitely have room for any ram

Good point. Lots of people overlook this. This would BARELY fit into my Shinobi. And it's wider than a lot of more inexpensive cases.

Always check the height of the cooler against your case clearance.

This is my case with 4x4gb of RAM and a Hyper 212 Evo cooler.

The RAM stick closest to the cooler is just barely touching it, with no space in between, but is not being pressed against it.

Its not a problem for me, If you really have to, you can position the fan slightly higher on the heatsink
