So I just built my first rig in November and it has had a very consistent problem every since I built it. Every so often, or back to back, I get a bsod(s), but they are never consistent. And when I go into bios whenever this happens it says "out of range" and a bunch of red pixels show up on the screen. I tried reinstalling windows but it seemed to make the problem even worse. Fixes?

At first, I was going to say this was a monitor issue but now I am thinking it is something to do with your graphics card. It can't be the monitor because your monitor can not cause bsod's. The graphics card would be the obvious problem but who knows if I am right.

Did you get the graphics card new or used? Maybe some cables not pluged in.
