Microsoft flight sim

shaneh890

I’m wanting to get Microsoft flight sim 2020 but I’m not sure how good of experience I’d have on my pc.
I’m running a ryzen 5 3600, 32 gigs ram @3200 and an rx 580 (8GB model).
it meets minimum requirements but not sure how smooth it’ll actually be.
do y’all think it’ll be worth it to get it or will it be a bad experience.

edit. I have my cpu over clocked to 4.2

You'll most likely be fine. It is a very demanding sim, but your hardware should be fine. The GPU should be your biggest bottleneck there, although I'm led to believe that MSFS struggles on Ryzen more than Intel. Anyway, you'll definitely be able to run it well, just not at extremely high settings.

Depends on the quality settings, but you're definitely not going to be able to run with all the bells and whistles with what you've got.

FWIW, it's included with Game Pass for PC/Ultimate, so if you already have that or want to just do a trial or something, you can try it out without having to buy it first.
