a upgrade so my parts will be

Ryzen 5 3500 ,ASUS rx 5600xt,16 gb ram

the GPU gains are not that significant, i would hold the GPU money for now and get yourself something like a 3060 at the later date.

first - that do i have to change my motherboard and install the cpu or should i just use the old cpu by just taking the cpu out and installing the new one

You can install zen 2 CPU on a B350 board, but you need to update your BIOS. According to Asus, you gonna need BIOS Version 4801 or newer.

second- can i just bring the same 8 ram stick and use the old and the new one in dual channeling

Depends on your memory. On intel side i would automatically say yes, but the combination of Ryzen practically begging for fast RAM and having a finicky memory controller means that both memory needs to be from the same brand, same speed, same timing, and same DRAM chip that works well with Zen CPU like Micron and Samsung. So make sure the manufacturer of your memory only uses 1 DRAM supplier or else i would say to get a new set of 16gb for maximum performance. But if you cant afford to make said research (or afford an entirely new 16gb kit) the benefit of both dual channel operation and more capacity is still there.

so i bought  ASUS b350m-a and a ryzen 3 1400 cpu , 8 gb ram gtx 1050 ti , and now i am thinking about a upgrade so my parts will be

Ryzen 5 3500 ,ASUS rx 5600xt,16 gb ram

so i have three doubts

first - that do i have to change my motherboard and install the cpu or should i just use the old cpu by just taking the cpu out and installing the new one

second- can i just bring the same 8 ram stick and use the old and the new one in dual channeling

third-will the rx 5700 card work with the old motherboard

1. Both the Ryzen 5 3500 AND the Ryzen 3 1400 are on the same AM4 Socket, so as far as that goes your current motherboard will do just fine.

2. For RAM to run in dual channel is typically recommended that you use an identical stick of ram (from the same manufacturer, same speed, same model) for the best speeds.

3. Yes, the RX 5700 will fit inside the same PCI slot, however I'd personally be weary of the physical size of the card and make sure that it can fit inside your case.
