thanks for the help, doesn't seem to be available in the uk so will keep my eye out

There are plenty of other products that look and function exactly the same. My link was only an example. Just search for "PWM fan hub" on amazon and you'll find plenty of those.

If you find something and are not sure if that's the right device, just send me the link and i'll happily have a look at it.

So i have just decided to buy some new fans because the old ones are just terrible and basically do not work at all but the problem i am facing is that these fans had a hub which connected to a molex connection but these new fans dont and my motherboard only has one system fan slot so i went and brought a molex fan splitter thing and it didnt work so was just wondering if anyone has a fan splitter that can have up to five fans on it

THIS basically what you're looking for.

This way your fans get powered by the molex connector, and your mobo can control them throught the 4-pin PWM connector. (If the fans support PWM control)

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

It'll work, however you won't be able to control the fan speed with your motherboard. You'll have to use the switch on the splitter.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
