Windows freezing before login screen

Hey everyone,

 

So I recently bought a pc within the last month or so and I wasn't putting much thought into this as it was hampering my ability to do anything. However I recently was trying to do troubleshooting with Microsoft for a separate issue and couldn't follow through because of this problem. 

 

So I will be booting up the computer and right before I get to the login screen this will happen (refer to image attached). The weirder part is sometimes my pc will even power cycle before booting up... I can try to get a video of this if needed but though it was worth mentioning. Please help, also if needed I can provide pc specs.

Where did you buy the PC, was it used or refurb or new, what are the specs and did you try a fresh windows install?

Does it do that in Safe Mode? Hard Locks are generally a sign of bad hardware (but not always! Some really corrupted OS can cause this too)

I am actually trying to do this now, but due to it freezing like this I can't complete the install

 

Also it is a new/used bought from someone who builds pc for a hobby and sells them

do you use ssd or hdd

if your pc boot in cycle that mean your pc having hard times using your storage device(ssd or hdd)

My OS is on a SSD

So I got the OS to reinstall and. Ithin that fixed all my problems... No need for anymore responses, but I'll keep y'all posted. Thank you for the help!
