So..... I sent my MSI 2080 Seahawk X graphics card for an RMA due to issues.  They were unable to fix it and decided to offer me an MSI 2080 Seahawk EK X as a replacement instead.  The problem? This new card would be a water block GPU.  The question then is if it would be worth the investment to add a water loop into my computer (Corsair 5000D Airflow Case).  I don't have any prior experience with water loops, though I have built 3 pcs so I am fairly comfortable with the building process itself.  I am in college and don't have a lot of flexible income until the end of this year and don't even know what good budget parts for a water loop would look like.  Alternatively, I could ask them for a different replacement card.

Any insights or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

You could sell it at msrp, which is more than what a new 3070 and some 3080 go for.
