Headphone issues with chromebook

I recently got a chromebook and noticed that my headphones are not working properly with them. When I try to listen to something through them, it sounds very quiet, and certain noises are suddenly really blown out, then it gets quiet again. The chromebook works fine with my earbuds. The headphones are Corsair Void Stealth Pro's.
