Alright so i have an i7-8700k and i decided to fire up cinebench while monitoring my load and thermals on nzxt cam. I decided to do the single core test since my cpu favors single core performance. While the test was going i noticed my cpu only ever reached a peak of about 10% usage. Anyone know why that is? isn't this supposed to be a benchmark that tests the full potential of your hardware? I may just be stupid but if someone could help me out that would be much appreciated.

CPU: Intel i7-8700k

GPU: GTX 1070 Superclocked

Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming Plus

RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengence DDR4 

Cooler: Corsair h60 liquid cooler

HDD: 1TB
