i7 9700 and GTX 1660

In my pc i have an i7 9700 and a gtx 1660. I dont want to buy a new gpu because they are so expensive right now. Will I receive any bottlenecks because of this pair?

No not currently. I just wanted to know if these were a bad pair, because I was thinking the gpu was too weak.

Ignore the bottleneck catchphrase.

You can buy a 5950 and an RTX3090, and you STILL will have a bottleneck somewhere.  EVERY SINGLE COMPUTER has a bottleneck in it.

If you're not sure if that GPU is strong enough, check the reviews for it and see what sort of FPS it gets on titles similar to what you run.
