i just wanted to know what others thought for parts it should be a mid range pc thats not too expensive that i can upgrade over time

Just Minecraft? If so you can basicallly half that budget.

Now is not really the time to build a PC as there are h u g e shortage of GPU's and everything has inflated prices.

However, assuming you can get everything at msrp i would recommend something like this:
