Enermax ELC240?

Hi all

 

Im building a new rig and im not quite sure on a certain cooler the Enermax ELC240, it seems good all be it rubbish fans but lets face it id replace those with noctuas.

 

I havent seen many people using the enermax now is that because they are bad or just not all that common, it appealed to me as it was the same price as the corsair h80i and for that price to be able to have a 240 rad would be great!

 

How does this perform compared to the H80i and maybe even the H100i?

If you look at the chart it performs as well as a H60. So I would get something like a H100i or H105 instead maybe a Dark Rock Pro 3?

 

This is it compared to other AIOs and is worse than the H100i. So I would get either a H105 or Dark Rock Pro 3 if you can.

I do think the benchmarks are suffering as the enermax fans it comes with are awful they have enermax cut outs on the side of the fans and have been shown to have rubbish airflow using smoke demos perhaps if it was fitted with some noctua nf f12s? or like you say just go for the H100i
