Hey guys, I know there are multiple threads representing the same question however each circumstance changes considerably due to variables related to differing computer setups.

I have installed my watercooling, however without my Noctua NH-D14 there isn't as much airflow circulating over my motherboard, as a result of this it was suggested to me on another forum to potentially change my airflow considerably.

I am just after educated responses detailing the pros and cons of each setup and if you could vote in the poll for which set up you would opt for it would be appreciated. I am just trying to gauge what the popular consensus is towards set ups as I am trying to achieve best possible temperatures through my computer. All advice, recommendations and changes are welcomed ideas.

My main concerns regarding the alternate airflow, is that my GPU may potentially become air starved, and hot air rises so not sure how effective my flow would become. It is in a Cooler Master Storm Stryker.

Cheers,

Zac

top & bottom intake, front and back exhaust, that'd give the radiator most air

Hot air rises and if my gpu wasn't a blower card I'd set it up with the bottom and front as intakes and back and top as outtakes.

The radiator airflow would be unaffected only the hot air pulled from the fans would be immediately exhausted out the front rather then circulating back through the case over the MOBO and into the GPU. I have a reference 780 TI so it pulls air in from the back and pushes it out the back of the case. Effectively the GPU is sucking in the warmer air pulled from the radiator at the current moment

all depends on case cooling id imagine ...

Case: | TT Core x71 | Mobo: | Gigabyte Aorus Elite DDR4 | Cpu: 13600K | 1.300V | P-Core 5.6GHZ | E-Core 3.9GHZ | Cpu Block: EK Quantum Velocity2 | Ram: Team T-Force Vulcan Z 4x8GB 3200MHz DDR4 | Gpu: Gigabyte GTX G1 970 Bios Hacked 1.275V | Gpu Block: EK | Cooling: Custom Loop | Rads: 4 | PSU: Corsair RM 1000w
