SQL Always On Question

I've created two SQL virtual machines and configured Always-on. 

 

Looking in the dashboard I see that my

 

primary is set to : Synchronous Commit

secondary is set to: Asynchronous Commity

 

Shouldn't both be set to the same type or is this configuration okay?
