Minecraft Crashes with Mods

A few weeks ago I tried to play a custom mod pack that my friend made. He and a couple other friends were able to get it to work, but it always crashed my game. When I tried to play a few modpacks made by technic and feed the beast, My game also crashed then. I find it strange that even through a specific mod launcher like the technic launcher and feed the beast launcher is being used, the game still crashes since these are made to be sure everything is compatible.

They are mods and should happened,I think posting a problem like this would likely be solved on the minecraft forums because of the largest population and more of a chance to be answered

I did that, I just wanted to get multiple opinions

Are you on 64 bit?

Wait, you set it to Xmx3G (Xms3036) and is only possible in 64 bit because Java32 only allows 2GB
