Hey guys. I've been playing games on my new PC for a while now and I've been experiencing micro stuttering.

My specs

  • Ryzen 7 5800x
  • ASUS ROG Strix B550-F WiFi
  • Gigabyte GAMING RTX 3070
  • 970 EVO NVME
  • 8TB BarraCuda
  • 750W Gigabyte PSU

In games like League of Legends or VALORANT, it'll run smoothly and in a few minutes, it'll stutter for a quick second, game will freeze and then resume back to normal. Any ideas?

Do you think it might be because I have Free-Sync enabled on my monitor and G-Sync enabled on the GFCP?

Could be. That's the type of behavior you'll sometimes see when a FreeSync monitor isn't completely compatible with GSync.

So do I keep GSync turned on in GFCP and turn it off on my monitor? Or keep GSync off in GFCP and keep it on my monitor?

Either or both. You need both on for adaptive sync.
