I'm looking for some help to replace my ailing computer I brought just before going to study graphic design but had to pull out due to ill health that left me pretty much bed bound and for convenience I was using my Xbox 360 for games by the time I was back to sitting at my desk my computer was out of date and unable to match my Xbox One X so I decided to keep using it and wait for computer parts, but my computer is on its last legs and acting up multiple times a week. I looking for something dependable that won't need everything updated for 3-4 years, due to ridiculous part prices, pain problems and never having built a computer before I was looking at a pre build (forgetting just how sky high graphic cards prices) and found 2 that fit the price and roughly what I want e

I'm looking for any advice to find a pre build or a some parts to help me find something to put together. I don't mind if it's AMD or Intel, Ideally I'd like Nvidia card but it's not a necessity.

The only thing i'd like but is not needed is a usb-C.

Any help would be greatly appreciate it, Thanks in advice.

Sorry that I can't really help you but I'm also replacing my old 10/11 year old pc right now. Currently going with a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU which is a good price for its performance and I don't think I'll be upgrading my GPU anytime soon if the prices stay up so I'm going to run a 650 Ti.

we're it me I'd go with the Palicomp one. A bit less money for basically the same hardware, and it will be easier to work on than the Alienware if you want to upgrade it in the future. Throw in a Windows license (if you need one) and a 1TB NVMe SSD (which I highly recommend instead of putting games on the hard drive) and you're at the same price as the Alienware for arguably a better machine.

Powerspec 1530 (Clevo PB50DF2) ~ i7 10875H ~ RTX 2070 Super 115W ~ 32GB DDR4 ~ 2x 1TB NVMe ~ 2TB 5400RPM ~ 1080P 240hz matte IPS

Gigabyte G1 GA-970-SLI ~ FX 8320 @ 3.3Ghz, 1212mV ~ 16GB DDR3 ~ Radeon 570 4GB ~ 512GB NVMe ~ 2x 1TB HGST 7200RPM

Xtras ~ Dell 22" 1680x1050 matte IPS monitor ~ Logi M705 mouse ~ PowerA Fusion Pro Xbox One controller ~ Sony XB950N1 headphones ~ Epson V700 film scanner

Streaming Setup ~ OBS Studio with AMF encoding ~ iVCam bridged to LG G6 ~ Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface ~ TONOR condenser cardioid mic
