Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

i would want to play at1080p 144hz, im upgrading from a laptop (i5 8250U Intel UHD620 4gb ram 500gb ssd) and  i would buy it september-ish i would need a keyboard (is Apex 3 good deal?) and i have a mouse already, i would use 1 screen maybe 2 in the future. I have a friend with a similar set up and he can definitely play games at 1080p 144hz, but a game like valorant you may be limited to 60-90. Also I say similar set up, the only difference is he has a 1660 Ti vs your 1660, might be worth the (msrp) price difference.

good build, but change the case. h510 is pretty bad. go with a corsair 4000d maybe? and are you sure you only want 8gb of ram? 16 is rly useful. you can be a bit free with ur money since the build so far is only 640 pounds

i used to have a 1650 run at like 300 fps ?

In Valorant? I am not familiar with how the games runs as I don't play it often. I am basing on what few times I did play.

From what I see online, 150-350 FPS at 1080p depending on the quality settings.

yea i guess, hes running 1080p and he should be fine with valorant at good settings
