I don’t think it will be to be honest. I would go with a be quiet 120mm AIO. You’ll definitely be able to do it if you use eco mode or disable PBO/undervolt. The case is a hot box and the air coolers/CPU cooler you want to use are pushing the limits (source). The vented side panels help a bit, but since there is no active exhaust it will get hot. You have to keep in mind that you’re trying to put an extremely hot GPU into a tiny case with really bad airflow.  I had trouble keeping a 3800x under 90c in gaming loads in an N case m1 with 5 fans and a NH-C12s. If you’re okay with the fans being run loud and the cpu being hot then it’s doable.

I just personally got burned on the evolv shift air when I used it so I want to be honest. I think the case is more suited for a 3060ti build with a 5600x.

Ok thanks for the input.

I am going to college soon and I am trying to build a well performing rtx 3080 build that takes up very little space so that I can get through college without having to upgrade it or having to worry about finding a place for it. The Phanteks Evolv Shift 2 air is perfect for me in every way except one. I feel that the pcie 3.0 riser cable will lower my performance. I was wondering if anyone knows of any custom pcie 4.0 riser cable gpu mounts for this case or any pcie 4.0 riser cables that I can swap out with the one that comes in the mounting bracket. If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it🙃

I wouldn’t recommend that case to be honest. I had the first version and it had a number of problems including being a hotbox and making my gpu extremely loud. I would strongly recommend looking at the SSUPD Meshlicious with the PCIE 4.0 cable or the nr200 for much better cooling. you

if you’re dead set on it here is the link to the cable https://www.amazon.com/LINKUP-RX6900XT-High-Speed-Gen4┃Universal-Compatible/dp/B08XN21819/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=pcie+4.0+cable&qid=1618205197&sr=8-3

Thank you, I will check those out. I am still doing research but as of now I feel like the shift 2 is one of my best options.

I get it, just make sure you use an air cooler on it or something like the be quiet 120 with the pump not in the radiator.

Yep I am planning on going with a triple fan 3080(probably gigabyte oc 3080) and either a ryzen 7 5800x or a ryzen 9 5900x with a low profile noctua cooler and noctua case fans. It should be cool enough.
