New build not starting up

hello, I just built a new rig. it is a ryzen 5600x on an msi MPG x570 gaming edge wifi board, with a 650w EVGA fully modular power supply, inside a lian li 011 dynamic. I am trying to get it to boot for the first time, but when I press the power button on the case, nothing happens. No fans, no rgb, nothing. And yes, I have tried flipping the switch on the power supply. Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong? I'll include a few pictures that might help troubleshoot the problem. If any others are needed, I'll happily provide more.

so it looks like your motherboard RGB is lit up, so thats a good sign. What I would try is removing the front panel jumper and use a screwdriver to jump the power on pins and see if you get any power.

That rgb is actually from my flash on my phone reflecting off of it. I've also tried jumping it using a screw driver and that also is not working. Could it be a faulty power supply?

ahhh ok, so then unplug everything from your PSU and try jumping it with a paperclip and see if the fan spins on the unit.

Okay, I've tried the paperclip method. I did have to use a staple, but I imagine it is all the same anyways. The fan did not start spinning. Does this mean it's a faulty power supply?

which PSU do you have? Some may have a hybrid or fanless mode.

It's an EVGA 650w G2

ok, there is a toggle on the back for this. Try toggling it and trying the paperclip method again. if the fan does not spin with it toggled in either spot, then its a dead PSU.

Tried it and no juice. That's lame. Was looking forward to my weekend off with my new PC:(. Thabk you for all your help!
