Device showing up as not plugged in, while on exact same setup on previous computer it was fine.

I found that the only way that I know of to get actual surround sound, not just emulated surround is using this device: image.png.42b983a6cc6fadea4ed2e44b2870a8ce.png. As is obvious, on my computer it is shown as not plugged in. My setup from my previous computer (DT 990 pros plugged into the front 3.5mm jack of an H510) had this device shown as plugged  in, and it worked, allowing full surround. Before I downloaded my MOBO's audio drivers, the device "worked" but was impossibly quiet with all sound cranked. Anyone have any ideas?
