I am building a new pc and I have 2 new m.2 NVMe drives for it. One will be my boot drive and the other will have some of my favorite games on it. I have heard that I should install my boot drive, install windows, and then install the 2nd m.2 drive when I'm ready to install other drives. Is this true or can I install both m.2 drives when I'm setting up the motherboard before it's in my case?

Thank you. 🙂

If you want to simplify the process of installing your programs other than Windows to your second drive, once Windows is installed, change the Program Files environment variable, and Windows and installers for programs will automatically assume you want everything installed there.

Thank you. I just didn't want Windows to screw up when I install it. 🙂
