RAM Upgrade issue.

I am a bit of a n00b when it comes to pc parts. I picked up 2x16gb 3600mhz ddr4 18-22-22-42 corsair vengeance pro rgb to upgrade from 2x8gb ballistix 3000mhz. Motherboard is ASUS TUF Gaming Plus x570 wifi. When both new ram sticks are installed mother board led is on cpu and start up pc. I installed 1 new ram 16gb 3600mhz and it worked but both don't. What is the porblem? 

What am i doing wrong and where do i start?
