Budget (including currency): ~$500 USD

Country: Merica

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming and studying, but I do some editting every now and then

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I bought a Corsair Crystal 280x after being mislead that the case can hold an ATX sized motherboard (Thanks Amazon...). So right now, Im currently biting the bullet and plan on getting a proper mATX mobo. I was hoping that you guys have some recommendations for what I can pick out for a new mobo.

Here is my spec list (I know that the case is wrong on the list, but I do got the Crystal 280x)

Why are you buying a 9900k? It’s older and just as expensive as a 10850k. Power supply is expensive and so is cooling. But that’s besides the point.

Motherboard you chose seems pretty good, but again has the older z390 chipset which doesn’t support CPUs released after 2018

I should disclose that I created this list a good while ago back November of 2020. Im currently deployed out in Saudi Arabia so I wont be seeing these parts to assemble myself until June. I didnt have the knowledge back then than I do now lol

But...thats not what im asking lol. Im asking for a good mATX mobo because the Crystal 280x case doesnt support a full sized ATX

I assume you would be looking at z490 boards and a 10700k then
