CPU:  Intel i5 10600k $279 and Cooler master hyper 212 cooler $49

Mother board: Asus Z590M plus micro Atx board $220


Ram: 16 GB Crucial Ballistics DDR4-3000 $110


Power Supply: Corsair TXM 550W 80+gold semi modular $79


Case: Cooler master N200 microATX $59

and finally graphics card, keeping in mind the current shortage of graphics cards i was planning to wither get a gtx 980ti for $500 or a gtx 1650 for $240 or any other suggestions that I can consider.

Total cost before graphics card CAD 800 

 What changes should I make ?

In this case you'd be far better off with a ryzen 3700 based system. More cores will benefit you A LOT more in your 3d applications.


As for gpu that 980ti whilst a bit better is by far not worth the money (that is more than it sold for used years ago) get the 1650.


Another thing to note the cooler master n200 is almost the size of a regular atx tower that is on the smaller side so you aren't saving a lot of space there.
