Minecarft Causing Keyboard Light Problem

I bought a Corsair k60 pro keyboard around december time, ever since then i have been having trouble with using it for minecraft. whenever i try to load up or play minecraft the lights freeze, i had set it up to a continous moving pattern but a min or teo into the loading screen the lights freeze. I contacted corsair and after a lot of troubleshooting they came to the conclusion it was a problem on minecrafts end. Anyone know what the problem might be or how to fix it? im getting pretty bored of unplugging and replugging my keyboard in when i try to use it
