Hello,

I have purchased this prebuilt and was wondering if I made the right decision: https://www.ebuyer.com/1129746-alphasync-rtx-3080-core-i7-10th-gen-16gb-ram-2tb-hdd-500gb-as-d5417  I haven't yet received this order so I might be able to cancel it if its not (if it is then I'll likely purchase an additional stick of ram as I've been told that single-channel can inhibit my performance).

I currently use a laptop(950m graphics card, i5-4200H, 8GB of ram) which is beginning to have problems after 5+ years of daily use (and was refurbished even then) and was looking to upgrade.

I understand that there is a shortage of GPUs at the moment but due to the above situation I'm not really able to wait for things to improve.

My budget is around £2000-2100 and I am based in the UK.

I have a keyboard, mouse and monitor

I would mainly be using it for gaming but would also like to use it for 3d modelling and rendering.

Any thoughts, suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

It's not the worst you could do, It's pretty bad imo.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

That's pretty bad actually. 3080 is going for between $1500-2000 on eBay, which is ridiculous, but even paying that price you can probably still get out the door for a whole system cheaper than this one (roughly $2800 US). They're just scalping you on the whole PC rather than just the card.

Thank you both for the response. I take it I should cancel my order then?

Do you have any suggestions as to where I could buy a better prebuilt in the uk? ( as I'm having a difficult time finding one with better parts for a similar price tag)
