Need help with my pc not booting into windows so I just finally finished my build with a ryzen 5 3600 amd cpu and everything booted fine updated my bios for new compatibility for my ryzen 7 5800x after I updated I decided to install my new cpu and added an aio onto it now it won't boot so I tried to clear the cmos and nothing kept getting the 0D code so I tried to remove all ram sticks and installed one and it boots into windows fine tried all my sticks there all good I have no idea why it works with one stick of ram 

 

Specs:

mobo: msi Meg X570 ace

Ram: 64 gigs of G.Skill trident Z

M.2 SSD:wd black 500gb

SSD: Samsung 860 evo 1tb

GPU:3060 EVGA 

PSU:EVGA SuperNova 1000 G3

Try each stick in each slot. You could have a bad channel or bad stick.

They all worked fine before I installed the new cpu and I tried all dimm slots the only one that seems to boot fine is the second dim slot

put your 3600 back in. If it works with that just fine will all 4 sticks and nothing wrong with the 5800x pins, try putting the 5800x back in and testing again. If still the same result, sounds like a bad CPU.

The 5800x boot with one stick of ram which is odd all pins where fine when I took it out the box

I understand that... Swap your 3600 back in and make sure something didnt happen to your motherboard with the CPU swap. If it works fine still with the 3600, swap the 5800x back in and verify it still fails to boot with more than 1 stick installed.

If you're still getting the 0D code with the 5800x, you likely have a bad chip and will need to rma it either with your retailer you purchased it through or directly with AMD.
