and i think we have a main voltage of 230 i dont have something to check for it tho.

Modern PSUs like yours have to pass Energy Star requirements.  The standby power consumption should be very low.  ATX power supplies are meant to be plugged in and "on" at all times.

You can use a DMM to test your mains voltage.  If they're low, the PSU isn't going to work.  Of course, you could always just get a better PSU.

Its my first time here so pls bear with me. I just built this PC 6 months ago and last march it did not turn on i tried the basic troubleshooting guides. but still no power. I tried to go to a repair shop and surprise surprise it turned on. but when the next day came when i was going to use my pc it did not turn on again, I waited for 1-2 hours before i got my pc to turn on again i really dont know anymore what to do. Should I swap my PSU? i currently have a cooler master mwe 550watt 80+ white

There are a lot of reasons the PC might not be able to turn on, could be the power supply but could also be the motherboard. However,

what do you mean by this? Did you press the power button one time and wait two hours while it slowly turned on? and have you tried taking your components out and testing them outside the case?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

after i use my pc i plug the psu out of the socket, but when i try turning it on when i wake up for example it does not turn on immediately and i need to wait for a couple of hours before there is power in my pc like when you're warming up your car for example.

Why on Earth are you doing this?

What's the exact model?

Is it the 230V only?

yes its the 230V

Ok.. You didn't answer the first question (unplugging the PSU every night), let's skip to the second.

The 230V version of that PSU ONLY operates at 230V and higher voltage. So the store you went to has 230V.  What's the mains voltage at your house?
