This was a few days ago, we bought a 600w NON MODULAR psu to replace our generic one because it doesn't have a pcie cable and AFTER we finished replacing it, plugged all necessary cords to the right ones, cpu cord to cpu, 24 pin to mobo, pcie to gpu, we tried to turn it on.

After turning it on, it was working, everything was fine, case led turns on, fans spin, cpu fan is functioning, gpu fan is functioning, but there is no display in our monitor and our keyboard, mouse doesn't even light up (based on previous experience, if this type of thing happens, cpu cord isn't connected properly), so we made sure its plugged in, made sure it's on the right side and it is. But still no kb/mouse and display on my pc. i was frustated thinking its another faulty psu that we bought but when we removed the gpu, everything was fine again. kb and mouse is lighting up, and it's displaying something on our monitor. we didn't want to put back the gpu because there was little to no space to grab the thing that latches onto the pcie slot so it's very hard to remove it.

we also don't have an avr nor ups (ik we need one) so there isn't something that makes our psu run at a lower wattage than the rated wattage.

came to the conclusion that gpu is faulty but needed to make sure.

what part is faulty? is it the pcie slot of the mobo? is it the gpu? is it the cpu cord? or pcie cord? i really have no idea.

edit: gpu is rx 580, exact model based on what is written on the gpu is AXRX 580 4gbd5-dm

Is it POSTing (any sort of beeps when you start your computer)?

Do you have any igpu on your CPU, or spare GPU?

How about spare PSU?

no posting, after i press the button, all fans and led's in the case lights up and monitor has no changes. as if there shouldn't be anything my pc needs to display such as bios or anything. kb and mouse don't also light up when normally they should.

cpu is ryzen 3 2200g, so yes.

spare psu? nah. our old generic one (bought from a pre built) is not trust worthy and has no pcie 6+2 pin.

our current psu is also a non modular one so i can't swap out cables.

Try CMOS clearing the board first then. Detach the small battery on your motherboard and unplug your PC from the wall. Wait for 3-5 minutes, and then attach the battery again.

already did that. still doesn't work. my only concern is the pc works without the gpu but when the gpu is inserted, it acts like every component in my pc is broken
