Budget (including currency): 2800

Country:  USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Escape from Tarkov, PSo2, GTA5, VRChat. Multi-tasking whilst playing games. IE Music/Firefox.

Other details:

I had currently selected this for my current setup

CPU : AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900X 3.7GHz [4.8GHz Turbo] 12 Cores/ 24 Threads 70MB Total Cache 105W Processor

Mobo : ASUS PRIME X570-P ATX w/ RGB, Realtek LAN, 2 PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 6 SATA3, 2 M.2 SATA/PCIe (Pro OC Certified)

RAM : 16GB (8GBx2) DDR4/4000MHz Dual Channel Memory (GSKILL Trident Z RGB)

HD/SSD : 1TB SAMSUNG 980 PRO (PCIe Gen4) NVMe M.2 SSD - Seq R/W: Up to 7000/5000 MB/s, Rnd R/W up to 1000/1000k

PSU : 850 Watts - Corsair RM Series RM850 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Fully Modular Ultra Quiet Power Supply

GPU : EVGA RTX 3070 8GB

CPU Cooler : DEEPCOOL Castle 240EX ARGB 240mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooling System w/ Copper Cold Plate (All Venom OC Certified)

Would I be in the good with this, like the power supply and all is enough right and is this a good build setup?

Go for slower RAM (3600mhz) with more capacity - (32 - 64GB.)

Hiya, bud. Fellow Tarkover here. Tarkov is notorious for hammering your hard drive, memory and cpu (granted you play that unoptimized mess at lower resolutions).

5900X will be quite scarce during these times, thus you will either have to scout it or buy it at eye watering scalper prices, besides, 5800X is pretty much the same as 5900X, even better in select titles for gaming, as many benchmarks have shown, so I'd save your money and grab a 5800X at that point.

Also, the RAM is going to hurt you long term. 4000/4400Mhz Ram is all cute, but the timings are generally too loose. I'd opt for 3200Mhz/CL14 or 3600Mhz/CL16 RAM. Other than that I can report that the G. Skill Trident Z/Neo's are great value for the money. Bought a pair of those myself, looks pretty, works like a charm.

The rest of it looks solid, I'd say. I would maybe swap that Asus Prime out for an Asus TUF X570-P at that price and, well... good luck securing an RTX 3070? May the force be with you. Not sure what kind of case you're going it. Might be putting it in your previous case, I'd guess.

Just make sure you got Tarkov installed on your NVMe and obviously don't forget to turn on XMP. Makes a world of difference in that game. Other than that... Good luck with your rig, enjoy your games and... Nice work, b*tch! (USEC 3 Voice)

P.S. Like Downkey said - More RAM. I am running on 16 Gigs myself right now. 32 Gigs would be the sweet spot, I'd say. 64Gigs is an overkill unless you get down with video editing at 4K resolutions in your free time. Last I recall, you can do that even with 32 Gigs of memory.

Did sometihng like this. http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1NNPQC

I did more research and took in the fact that 5900x is not Inline for gaming heavy since it wont use all those cores and more expensive and harder to get.

Did 3200Mhz 32GB 16GBx2 Sticks G.Skill and Had to swap from a 850W Psu and do up a 750PSU. Thermaltake/EVGA/Corsair seem to have decent psu from my experience. But does this look good?

all the changes I’m about to list are configurable on this website.
Change the PSU to a RM650.

Change the case to a 4000D airflow

Change the MOBO to a B550 Arorus elite
