Windows 10 - Mouse Click Sensitivity Problem

Hi there,

Not sure if it's just for me but I've noticed that double clicking or clicking on icons/files sometimes poorly registers/responds so to open a folder sometimes I need to double click 3 times in a row or when I want to highlight a folder/file it sometimes doesn't even respond.

In Games there's nothing like that so I assume it's not a malfunctioning mouse. Probably something to do with Windows itself ( updates fkd something ?).

Maybe it's a known issue and there's a solution/fix?

Hello, I my self experienced this issue, my mouse was causing it. In games it seemed okay, but in windows I needed to click more times or the folder opened more times after just one click. Try to replace the mouse and see what will happen 🙂

I've noticed same on my friends Laptop, he also uses fairly new mouse on pretty much fresh Win10 too.

Have you tried to adjust Windows mouse settings? There's a slider for setting sensitivity for double-click. But if your mouse clicks while you lightly tap the button, its time to look for new mouse. That would indicate that something is mechanically broken.
