PS4 controller not pairing.

Hello I wanted to know if anybody might have the same issue that I do. so recently, and I mean extremely recently. I have been having an issue with my PS4 controller. when I turn it on the controller shows so blue like it was paired but on the my TV screen it doesn't actually show anything differently. It still says press the PS button to use the controller. which doesn't make sense because I've tried it when I plugged in a USB cable. I've tried it when I put it onto a wireless docking station. nothing seems to be fixing the issue anybody got any ideas?

 

This problem is also on the PS4 slim.
