How frequently do you update your GPU driver (please precise Nvidia or AMD)?

I used to update my GPU driver when the latest driver were available, but I had problems and bugs with the last two Nvidia drivers, more specifically with Chrome, Lightroom and Photoshop. Today I reinstalled an older driver from last October (2020) and everything is running perfectly. I'm just curious to know how important it is to be "up to date" with GPU drivers.

Thanks!

For gamers, staying up to date is usually worth it as there's usually optimizations packaged in for the latest titles. For work purposes, unless the patch notes specifically cite a fix for a bug you've been having, or an improvement for a piece of software you use, don't see why there would be a reason to update.

2070 Super.   Sometime when in ''develop'' mode the image flickers when editing and also when scrolling between files. Photoshop is unstable and buggy, filters are really slow, but that was with the latest driver (461.72). I now use driver version ''456.71'' and my computer is running way more smoothly now, everything is fine. If you want to test it out you can download older drivers on the Nvidia website https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

AMD drivers should be available on AMD's website
