Synology DDR4 Memory Module

I am searching for memory options for my Synology DS1621+ NAS. Can anyone provide me with some options of what memory modules I can use?

The manual points to "Synology RAM DDR4-2666 ECC SO-DIMM 16GB"

Which is just DDR4 2666 ECC SODIMM (the shorter laptop style) RAM.

You should be able to use any DDR4 ECC SO-DIMM 2666MHz CL19 module. I'd take a look at Samsung's M474A4G43MB1-CTD.

OK cause i was confused and thought it had to be Synology RAM. Cause the prices are ridiculous

Yeah, that's how they get you.

Though do keep in mind the Synology RAM is ECC (unbuffered) whereas the G.Skill RAM you posted is not.

I just realized, thank you for mentioning it.

The official memory frequency supported is 2400 Mhz ... 2666 probably works with smaller ram sticks, but I'd say it's not guaranteed with 32 GB

Also, I don't think the frequency really matters that much with cpu on this unit, so if you find something much cheaper at let's say 2133 Mhz, I suggest you give it a try.
