I built a new system this past month using dual monitors (1080p Hisense through Gigabyte Aorus Pro, 4k TCL through 1050ti Dual fan OC). I run them in their respective resolutions and this and that app for each respectively. I always keep the system updated at every angle. Just this past week, I opened up Adobe Premiere to start assembling a video and loaded it up. Before I decided to start assembling, I decided on a whim to open the Windows Store Netflix app and it started up on my 4k display. The second it opened, the entire screen turned bright green and I couldn't get it to go back to normal until I restarted the computer. Upon seeing the bios screen, it was in 4:3 format on the 4k display. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Nvidia driver and the bios screen was still in 4:3 format, so black bars on either side of the 4k display. When I restarted from the bios, it went back to normal wide format, but every time I completely restart, the bios will go back to 4:3. It's like the driver for the GPU isn't loading until after the bios loads. I don't remember it every doing this before. So one other issue I've noticed was that no matter what setting I change, Windows display settings says that my 4k display is stuck on screen 2, but I can make it my main display. I believe this to be the reason for the Nvidia Control Panel text to be enlarged on my 1080p display. I guess the Control Panel is being displayed in 4k on the 1080p Display and won't downscale to fit the 1080p resolution. So down below I'll list the problems I want to fix.

1. 4:3 bios startup screen on cold boot or restart - I want it to display in wide no matter what.

2. Windows display settings shows 4k Display as main monitor but identifies as 2. - I want the 4k display to identify as 1.

3. Nvidia control panel is huge on 1080p Display and correct on 4k, unlike every other program. - When I switch displays, I want them to scale automatically.

I'd appreciate any help or advice anyone can provide and I thank anyone for reading this.

I'm trying to get my hands on a hdmi to dp cable, but newegg sent me the won't one when I ordered it so I had to wait from the beginning of this month to the 21st to reorder. Otherwise I'll have to keep using the on board graphics to run the other tv. I found a fix for it though. I had to remove the reg keys for all graphics drivers and restart.
