I was looking into the Gigabyte motherboard I planned on getting and noticed that it has a Realtek AC-1200 audio solution. How does this differ from the s1200a? Is the 1200 noticeably worse than the 1220? Additionally what's the difference between the 1220 and the 1220VB?

So I managed to dig up that the 1220VB is Gigabyte's version of the 1220 and is fairly recent and has a bit more power, but I'm still unsure as to how big the difference is between the 1200 and 1220. I dont really plan on getting a DAC in the near future, but I guess it would be preferable to spending 50% more on a motherboard (cheapest motherboard that has wifi, doesnt have red in the colour scheme, and has ALC1220 is an x570).

Is there an actual difference between the various onboard audio sound output? How do you even find out what they all sound like?
