Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4R 3200 MHz, DDR4, DRAM, Desktop Gaming Memory Kit, 16GB (8GB x2), CL16

 

Has anyone used this ram before and if so is it any good, Amazon reviews look really good and for the price of £65 with prime looks to be a good deal.

 

I always come one here to check before buying any new components though 

 

if not is the ram below any good?

Crucial is a reputable manufacturer and the specs look fine, so unless there's anything looking particularly wrong in the reviews I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be decent.

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Yes, good RAM...Good PCB and uses Micron's 8Gbit Rev.E die which is known to overclock well...LPX is overpriced and shit most of the time...Even the 4000CL16 flat 1.4v LPX kit is weird.
