Difference between Pro mobile GPU's

Hi, I'm looking at getting a mobile workstation at some point around September for an Engineering University course using CAD software like Solidworks or Autodesk.

I've found two laptops that look similar apart from the GPU, one is a quadro p620 and the other is a quadro t1000. They have the same CPU, memory and VRAM. The only differences are the GPU's and price. Will getting the more expensive t1000 have more benefits for the price. I've linked the two laptops below.

The IO differences won't be important to me and neither will be the SSD speed.

Will you be doing "simple" work like 2D CAD, or will your work involve more complex animated 3D and interenals?

Probably 3d modelling of components and assemblies. Some flow tests will probably need to be done. Both are reasonably within budget but as a student I don't want to waste money if I won't get the benefit
