What are you using the laptop for? What programs?

Get a SSD, a HDD will be way to slow.

Id go 16gb if you can, browsers keep using more ram, but some of the systems I have at work as sitll working with 4gb of ram, MS office, and chrome.

I do not know the programs that are involved in the workplace. That is why i need the opinion of someone who is within a company. I am an independent worker.

Sorry for my poor english

This really depends on what the office is doing?

But for the average office worker, make sure you get a ssd, Id go 16gb of ram(not much extra, why not)

What do you think about an i3 or an i5? In the Laboral scene.

Sorry for my poor English.

You could probably get away with 8gb since you're not gaming or planning on doing much entertainment stuff on it. Right now I'm thinking of upgrading the laptop I use for uni to 8gb since a memory slot died and I have went down from 6 to 4 (yes, the laptop had a 2gb and a 4gb stick, from different brands even). Let me tell you, 4gb is a pain in 2021. If you plan on using virtual machines on it, then definitely go for 16gb.

I'd say go for 8GB. It was a pain in the literal back to use a laptop with 4 GIGS of memory. Thankfully a month or two after I got my laptop, I upgraded the RAM from 4GB to 12GB.

And let me tell you, that was very much worth it.

16GB and above is ideal for modern desktop PCs, but 12GB and under should be enough for work.
