I moved to a new place and it's wired with cat5 throughout, but I'm having an issue where my PC won't recognize the Ethernet connection coming from the wall-jack. The internet works fine if I plug it directly into the router at the wiring hub, though.

The odd thing is that when I plug a PlayStation into the wall-jack the internet works fine. Furthermore, if I go into the network adapter properties on the PC, and change it to 10Mbps full or half duplex the PC will recognize the connection then. This is far from ideal though, since I have gigabit internet.

Does anyone have an idea about how to remedy this issue?
