Hey everyone. Hope yall are keeping safe.

I recently built my computer with the Ryzen 5 3600 and the asrock b550m pro4 motherboard. I'm using Crucial Ballistix RGB 3600 speed ram which I can't seem to get to 3600 speed. I've updated the bios to the latest version and am able to get 3200 speed, but with XMP enabled with the speed 3600, the speed resets to 2666.

You could try to set speed and timings manually but ryzen only "officially" support 3200MHz and everything above that can be trickier. The memory controller in the Zen 2 and zen 3 cpus are a lot better than the zen and zen+ but are still a bit picky sometimes. Some people i've seen to never get anything above 3200Mhz (and sometimes not even that) and some people can run 4000MHz in 1:1 mode on the XMP/DOCP profile.

Interesting. I was able to get 3333 speed pretty easily using the XMP profile. What would be the best things to change to get to 3600 speed? I have no idea how to overclock ram so apologies in advance.
