Mobo CPU overvoltage error

JJB

I've built a new PC today, but it seems that the MOBO is reporting the CPU voltage 2x as high as it should be.

When booting (haven't installed an OS yet) I get a CPU voltage error, it's reporting 2.9V for my ryzen 5800X.

When I manually set the voltage to 1V, it reports 2V with a voltage error.

Is this bad? I don't really want to send the mobo back.

Do I have to reseat my CPU?

Thats a bios glitch. It's obviously not running at that. Try updating your bios. Your on verison 1004. The latest bios for your board is version 1804. It should help fix that (i hope)
