Need help with multi gpu setup!

kentf

I just finished building a pc with 3 gpu's but it seems like the gpu in the lowest pcie slot is default.

Here is a screenshot to show what I mean, the display is plugged into the gpu in the first pcie slot on the mobo(A520 Aorus Elite) but it shows it as gpu 3.

I've never encountered this issue before with multi gpu setup's so I don't know what's wrong.

Anyone know what's causing it to do that.

None of that matters.
take the others out and add them back one at a time and it may put the right number in it.

I just tried taking them out and putting them back in but it still does the same.

When I  have just 1 gpu in it obviously works fine since it is the only gpu in but when I put a second gpu in that one becomes the default gpu.

What makes you think a gpu is the default one? Also just taking them out isnt the fix. Need to install the drivers again. Or just leave it be.

Try to take them out and reinstall the last card in the position you want to be the default.

I use msi afterburner and when I play a game or anything that requires the use of the gpu, the third gpu is running and not the one in the first slot.

I  always install  nvidia drivers each time I put in or take out a gpu so it doesn't seem to be driver issue.

That's how I always install gpu's since starting from top to bottom makes it harder to install the next one, so I always start from bottom to top.
