3070 issues RTX 3070 stopped working

I have had my 3070 sine the start of December and its being working great until this morning when my pc wasn't recognised by my monitor.

 

I swapped cables. I switched it out for an old 1060 and my pc booted fine, so the PCI slot or power cable going to the GPU are fine. I put both cards in and connected the HDMI cable to the 1060 and then put the 3070 in the other slot  and it booted fine but the 3070 was not recognised by the PC in task manager. There is RGB on the side of the card and that's on.

 

Its all very weird and am not sure what to try. Any help is appreciated.

2x8 corsair vengeance pro

MSI B550 gaming plus

EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra

Corsair RM850 PSU

I was using it while it was working but tested it in HDMI as my old GPU doesn't have display port

Right, I get HDMI works with your old GPU and not new, but what about DP, does DP work on the 3070? If not, the card is likely dead and will need to be RMA'd.

Thank you for you help, I have managed to source another display port cable and it is now working so it must have been a cable problem all along. Thank you again for your help
