no display

when i turn my pc on the case fans will boot up and go but the cpu fan will stop after 5 seconds and i will get no display ive checked and double checked that all my cables are plugged into what they need to be plugged into but get no display regardless

Hey, what are the specs of this pc? And I'm assuming this is a new pc, and not something that just suddenly stopped working? Regardless, I'd do a basic check of the following:
 

1. Re-seat your memory (make sure audible clicks are heard on both ends of the slot(s))
2. Ensure that all of your cables within the pc are seated correctly (no visible gap between the connector and the header it goes into)

it is an older pc that i put into a new case parts include 

an old m2n68-la mother board a 500 watt power supply 2 2tb hard drives and a 750 graphics card
