Is the GTX Titan Black still good for gaming in 2021?

I am looking for a graphics card and I found some on a few different sites. This one in particular caught my eye; the GTX Titan Black 6GB GDDR5. It is a lot like my current RX 580 8GB but I want to know if I should buy the GTX Titan Black. My budget is $300-$400. Graphics cards are really hard to find for good ones right now so I've resorted to eBay, Facebook Marketplace, etc. The Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 is an option as well as the GTX Titan Z 12GB. Games I will be playing are mostly Fortnite and GTA V while streaming. I'll also be picking up the i9 9900K from MicroCenter for $299.

To my knowledge the GTX Titan Black isn't really an upgrade over your current RX 580 and the Titan Z is a dual GPU card therefore you will be getting half the performance of the cards since most modern games don't support SLI. The 1070 is a significant upgrade but after all the RX 580 is still a competent card today and it's better to just wait for 30 series cards to be in stock so you can get a 3060 ti for 400$ which is much better than a 1070.

It’s still ok for gaming. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to get one. Really hate that I missed getting a Titan z for 300usd. But I just want one to have.
Should be able to find 1070/1080’s for that budget locally. Facebook marketplace and such.

The card only pulls like 200-210W, the GTX Titan Black you were mentioning would pull 250W, and the GTX Titan Z 370 to 400W, and a GTX 1070 can pull beetween 175 to nearly 200W depending on the model and load. And the RX 580 can pull between 180 to 240W depending on model.

I was also thinking about the 980 ti or the 1070

It's best to wait and get a 3060 ti, there's no point to overpaying for the card now. The 3060 ti is comparable to a 2080 super in performance. Or a 3060 which is cheaper and about to launch soon and you may be able to pick one up if you're lucky, that is expected to perform as well as 2070 super or so.

I would only have about $200-$300 USD to spend on a card
